  • In Humboldt County, a civil grand jury recently recommended several changes to the County’s cannabis permitting process.

  • A recent study purports to show that California could significantly increase—indeed, double—its cannabis tax revenue if it repeals the state cultivation tax.

  • It is “Weed Week” in Stanislaus County, a five-day period during which law enforcement focuses on illicit cannabis farms. This year, law enforcement arrested 86 individuals at 34 illegal farms, and confiscate approximately 40,000 plants and 4,357 pounds of marijuana product.
